Research Associate Job – Key Responsibilities

As a Research Associate in Biochemistry, you will support the bioconjugation R&D agenda by executing, analyzing, and documenting advanced chemical and enzymatic reactions on antibodies and therapeutic proteins.

Your day-to-day experimental, analytical, and data duties will include:

  • Enzymatic & Chemical Conjugation: Performing precise chemical and enzymatic reactions on antibodies and therapeutic proteins to develop novel ADC modalities for this Biochemistry Job.
  • Protein Purification (FPLC): Operating automated Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC) systems to purify modified antibodies using Protein A, Size-Exclusion (SEC), and Ion-Exchange (IEX) chromatography.
  • Advanced Protein Characterization: Evaluating conjugates using high-end analytical equipment, including SDS-PAGE, Reverse-Phase UPLC (RP-UPLC), Size-Exclusion UPLC (SE-UPLC), and Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (UPLC-MS).
  • Functional Assays: Conducting critical in vitro cell-based functional analyses, including cytotoxicity assays, reporter cell lines, and ELISA-based binding assays to advance this Research Associate Job.
