Job Description
A research officer Job position in life sciences is immediately available in the group of Dr. Amit Singhal. The primary focus of this role is to engage in fundamental and translational immuno-metabolic research concerning inflammation and infectious diseases. The research officer will utilize human cells, in vitro models, animal models, and advanced omics techniques to drive innovative studies.
Research Officer Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Involvement in projects related to metabolic regulation in host cells during inflammation.
- Perform in vitro and animal experiments.
- Conduct wet lab experiments using techniques such as molecular biology (single-cell omics), immunohistochemical analysis, and flow cytometry.
- Manage husbandry and genotyping of the laboratory’s mouse colony.
- Provide laboratory maintenance support and procurement activities.
- Analyze omics data.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Research Officer Jobs
- A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
- Team player, independent, self-driven with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and show commitment.
- Competency with animal work and immunological/molecular biological techniques, including flow cytometry.
- Knowledge of dry lab (bioinformatics) is important.
- Strong communication, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge/experience with bacteria and/or viruses.
