Clinical Research Associate Job Description
In this Clinical Research Associate job, the primary role is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical research projects, including single- and multi-site clinical studies. Responsibilities encompass study operations, site coordination, EDC monitoring and data review, study documentation, participant recruitment support, and cross-functional study activities.
Eligibility Criteria for Clinical Research Associate job
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research.
- Experience in conducting medical device and/or in-vitro diagnostics studies preferred.
- Working knowledge of applicable clinical research regulations and standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with electronic data capture and clinical trial management systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Clinical Research Associate job – Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, start-up, execution, monitoring, and closeout of clinical research studies.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings for clinical trial planning and execution.
- Coordinate day-to-day study operations with internal teams, clinical sites, vendors, and contractors.
- Contribute to the development of study documents, including protocols and training materials.
- Conduct site feasibility assessments and site selection activities.
- Perform EDC monitoring and centralized data review activities.
- Maintain study trackers, metrics, and reports to support operational oversight.
- Support preparation and submissions to IRB and regulatory documentation as assigned.
