Research Associate Role in Singapore: Job Description
The Research Associate will conduct experiments, analyze and process experimental data, and participate in multiple R&D projects as part of the field project team. In this Research Associate role in Singapore, responsibilities include setting up experiments, running samples, and ensuring proper documentation of experimental records while adhering to safety protocols.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
- Familiar with the experimental operation of SDS-PAGE, Western blots, LC-MS, HPLC, and other protein detection methods.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good team working skills.
GenScript Singapore Job – Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments, analyzing and processing experimental data, and sorting out unqualified data.
- Research activities might include cell culture, protein purification, concentration tests, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, endotoxin tests, HPLC, and LC-MS test analysis of protein samples.
- Setting up experiments, running samples, and writing experimental records.
- Participate in multiple R&D projects as part of the field project team.
- Responsible for proper documentation of experimental records.
- Participate in routine lab hygiene activities including 5S of work areas, stocktaking, and consumable replenishment.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the equipment to ensure it is working correctly.
- Follow all safety protocols and SOPs to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Complete other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
