Job Description
The Upstream Process Scientist will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing upstream process development studies with minimal supervision. This includes performing mammalian cell culture experiments using shake flasks, Ambr® systems, and laboratory-scale bioreactors, as well as analyzing and interpreting experimental data using appropriate statistical approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute upstream process development studies.
- Perform mammalian cell culture experiments using various systems.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain accurate laboratory records.
Eligibility Criteria
- MSc in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Bioprocess Engineering, or related discipline; or BSc with relevant industrial experience.
- Proven industry experience in mammalian cell culture and biologics process development.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with Ambr® and/or laboratory-scale bioreactor systems.
