Indiana University Research Job Description
The Indiana University research job in the Dharan Lab in the Department of Biology at Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a highly motivated research associate to support ongoing research projects focused on HIV-1 biology and to assist with general laboratory operations. The research associate will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other lab members on active research projects while also helping with day-to-day laboratory activities. Responsibilities will include cell culture, preparation of laboratory reagents, maintaining laboratory stocks, ordering supplies, organizing laboratory materials, and assisting with routine experiments. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative research environment and may also assist with the training and supervision of undergraduate researchers.
Basic Qualifications
Qualifications for Indiana University research job include:
A bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field is required. Previous laboratory research experience is preferred but not required.
