Job Responsibilities
- Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
- Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
- Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
- Support approved laboratory projects.
- Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures, while in the Life Sciences internship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Current enrollment in a Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.
- Interest in laboratory science and the diagnostics industry, with enthusiasm for a Labcorp internship.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
- Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts.
- Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Labcorp Internship Details
- Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
- Dates of Internship: June 1st – August 13th, 2027
- Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
Pay Range: $17.75-22/hr
