Septodont Microbiologist Job Description
In this microbiologist role at Septodont, the Microbiologist I will be responsible for performing various microbiological tests, including environmental monitoring, sterility testing, and bioburden testing. Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Diploma or a University degree in a related science (Microbiology).
- Experience: 2 years of related experience in Microbiology or a related field.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a self-directed team environment is essential.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada for the duration of employment. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support.
Septodont Microbiologist Job – Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing including environmental monitoring of air and surfaces in the Aseptic Processing Area.
- Conduct sterility testing of finished goods and bioburden testing of water systems.
- Prepare and sterilize microbiological media and equipment.
- Support investigations related to quality control and compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for gown training for production staff.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
