Quality Assurance Jobs Description
The QA Officer plays a vital role in supporting the quality assurance of distribution and logistics operations, a key aspect of quality assurance jobs, ensuring compliance with GDP and GMP regulations. This position involves contributing to the development and maintenance of company quality policies and systems, operational support for planning and customer service departments, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously executes the operational processes related to the assigned quality system(s).
- Advises staff on executing applicable activities in compliance with GxP guidelines and AbbVie policies.
- Evaluates performance of the assigned quality system through performance management and initiates improvement programs.
- Maintains documentation related to the assigned quality system per GDP/GMP guidelines.
- Supports and executes training on good distribution and manufacturing practices.
- Participates in QA projects and supports Continuous Improvement activities.
- Executes change management impacting documentation and quality systems.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement and compliance of the local quality system.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant specialization, preferably in biology, or another life science.
- 2+ years’ experience with implementing and maintaining quality systems in a pharmaceutical (GDP) environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is considered an advantage.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and TrackWise is preferred.
- Ability to take leadership and own challenges.
- Persistent and resilient when confronted with obstacles.
