PRO-LISTEN PhD Project Details

Project: PRO-LISTEN

Neural and computational mechanisms of speech comprehension in challenging listening conditions and multilingual environments (Spanish/Basque). The PRO-LISTEN PhD centers on this research theme.

Methods:

  • MEG
  • Behavioral assessments
  • LATXA LLM hierarchical predictors
  • Multivariate temporal response functions (Python/Eelbrain)

BCBL PhD Position Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the funding scheme and UPV/EHU doctoral admission requirements (typically ≥300 ECTS including ≥60 master’s ECTS).

Desirable:

  • Background in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, linguistics, computational linguistics, biomedical engineering, or data science
  • EEG/MEG experience
  • Python and statistics
