Eligibility Criteria:
- Masterโs in Biochemistry, Microbiology or related scientific field OR a bachelorโs degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of industrial or academic experience working in molecular biology, biochemistry or microbiology space
- Hands-on experience in molecular cloning techniques with a solid understanding of genetic engineering principles
Job Summary:
Associate Scientist, Molecular Biology, is a role within Global R&D that works on the research/development of new services and technologies such as (but not limited to) gene synthesis and non-traditional plasmid vectors.
Responsibilities:
- Execute experiments along with analysis of the relevant biophysical and biochemical data.
- Create detailed project reports, and present findings and recommendations.
- Actively contribute to a team setting within the laboratory and potentially with other departmental work teams to: increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, improve quality, and provide innovation support.
- Perform reviews of process documentation and provide technical advice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- All employees are responsible for the general upkeep of work and shared spaces.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required of all employees.
