Bruker Research Technician Job – Molecular Biology/Biochemistry

Canopy Biosciences is currently seeking a Research Technician to join our service operations team. You will directly contribute to cutting edge research and perform a variety of our technology offerings, including our multiplex spatial proteomics ChipCytometry platform. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented and committed to performing high-quality work in the lab.

Responsibilities
โข Performs assays and lab procedures related to Multiplex IHC assays including fluorescent imaging, antibody staining, PBMC isolation, and tissue sectioning according to SOPs using appropriate laboratory techniques
โข Maintains laboratory notebooks, SOP documents, and computer databases
โข Assists with product development, including development and validation of new Multiplex IHC assays
โข Performs sample intake and accessioning
โข Manages, monitors, and maintains equipment, facilities, and supplies. This will include routine handling and lifting of laboratory supplies and bench-top equipment
โข Works in a professional and collaborative manner with coworkers and customers
โข Provides operational support for testing activities including reagent preparation, cleaning activities, and equipment maintenance
โข Works on routine assignments as well as other assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations
Qualifications
โข Minimum BS in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field
โข Minimum of 3 years lab experience is required
โข Experience in histology or microscopy is strongly preferred
โข Experience with flow cytometry and ELISA is beneficial
โข Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting
โข Strong attention to detail
