Clinical Research Position Description
The Abbott Clinical Research Associate will support the delivery of clinical studies in accordance with established protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include building relationships with investigators and study sites, assisting in study start-up, monitoring, and management, as well as reviewing study documentation and preparing reports. Mentoring and training will be provided to help develop skills in the role.

Key Responsibilities
- As a Clinical Research Associate, you will support the delivery of clinical studies, helping to ensure they are conducted, documented, and reported in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory requirements.
- You will develop strong relationships with clinical investigators, study sites, and research institutions while supporting study start-up activities, ongoing monitoring, and overall study management.
- You will assist with reviewing study documentation, preparing reports and study materials, and supporting the collection and review of safety
- information in collaboration with investigators.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain high-quality study conduct, support patient recruitment and retention initiatives, and contribute to site training activities to ensure study teams have a clear understanding of protocol requirements and study procedures.
- Throughout the role, you will continue to build your clinical research and monitoring expertise through structured development opportunities and practical experience.
