RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation and extraction of samples for GC/MS confirmation
- Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Testing and evaluation of reagents in compliance with SOPs
- Documentation of maintenance and quality control procedures
- Storage and replenishment of supplies
- Adherence to security procedures for donor information confidentiality
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds
- Full body movement and excellent vision and hearing
- Adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
RELEVANT BUSINESS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Domestic travel may be necessary for legal proceedings or visits to other Alere offices.
