Overview of Role
Alvotech is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Downstream Process (DSP) Development Technician to support our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our DSP development operations by managing key supporting activities within the DSP development team.
Scope and Responsibility
- Maintain lab organization and tidiness
- Preparation of buffers/solutions
- Lab inventory management
- Calibration of pH and conductivity meters
- Supporting process development for biosimilars
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or technical degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, or related fields (desirable)
- No prior experience required, but laboratory experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
- Excellent command of English language
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team
