The ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative team focused on creating a scalable platform for Natera’s next-generation clinical assays.Primary Responsibilities:
Research, build, and validate high-throughput RNA-sequencing assays
Explore emerging technologies in the RNA-sequencing field
Independently design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings
Collaborate with automation engineers for creating robust, automated assays
Write documentation, SOPs, and train Clinical team operators
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related fields
Experience in assay development for the life science industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Hands-on experience in developing RNA-sequencing-based clinical assays
Understanding of nucleic acid extraction, NGS library preparation, and sequencing technologies
Experience in laboratory automation and assay scalability
Proficiency in experiments planning, data analysis, and communication
