Job Description
Our company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our protein science team as an Associate Scientist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bacterial fermentation, protein purification, and analytical characterization techniques. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support our vaccine development programs by generating high-quality protein and polysaccharide antigens from bacterial pathogens.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize purification protocols for various recombinant proteins using chromatographic methods
- Characterize protein purity and homogeneity using analytical and biophysical tools
- Troubleshoot challenges and propose innovative solutions
Basic Qualifications
Required Skills:
- BS degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Hands-on experience in optimizing protein purification protocols
- Proficiency in analytical and biophysical protein characterization techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in protein purification in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
