About the Role
In this role within the Centre for Genomics Research, we are seeking recent graduate bioinformatics scientists to support the genome informatics needs of the Centre. As part of the Omics Bioinformatics team, you will contribute your expertise to a multidisciplinary research environment focused on computational biology and genomics.
Responsibilities
- Running data processing pipelines and workflows
- Troubleshooting issues with data, metadata, or tools
- Managing data in line with standards and guidelines
- Performing data QC and integration activities
- Working with cloud-based informatics technologies
Key Requirements
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Experience with standard bioinformatics tools and data formats
- Strong academic track record
