Job Description:

Avantor is seeking a motivated and adaptable Junior Bio-Bank Scientist to support the management of human tissue samples for the Innovative Medicines Group. As part of a dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facility in Cambridge, you will contribute to the storage, supply, and handling of biological samples while working closely with various Biobanks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle sample management tasks with precision and accuracy
• Maintain inventory of human biological samples in compliance with Good Clinical Practice
• Utilize informatics systems and databases for tracking and documentation
• Provide prompt responses to customer queries via email and telephone
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience in sample management preferred
• Strong attention to detail and computer literacy
