Job Description
The Regulatory Assistant will assist in overseeing clinical research regulatory requirements and support the integrity of assigned clinical trials from approval through closure. The position involves handling regulatory submissions, maintaining documentation, coordinating with sponsors, and supporting internal study teams to ensure compliance with federal and institutional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities for Bachelors Life Science Jobs
- Prepare and collect study-related research regulatory documents (CVs, MLs, Financial Disclosure, FDA 1572, etc.)
- Process clinical trial safety reports and IRB/RDC approvals
- Assist with revisions such as personnel updates and continuing reviews
- Coordinate and support sponsor visits (e.g., SIVs, monitoring, close-out visits)
- Participate in study initiation and interim monitoring visits
- Maintain Clinical Trial Management System and liaise with sponsors and research teams
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications for Bachelors Life Science Jobs
- Bachelorโs degree in Applied or Life Sciences or equivalent experience (2โ3 additional years in lieu of degree)
- 6 months to 1 year of clinical trial administration or related administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, handle documentation, and multitask efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications
- Ability to understand compliance requirements within three months of hire
