Analytical Methods Lab Intern
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Analytical Methods Lab Intern, are to:
- Analyze biologics with analytical methods;
- Process and integrate analytical data for the characterization of products;
- Purchase Lab supplies for analytical testing;
- Contribute to the inventory of standards and controls in the MSAT Analytical Laboratory using inventory management systems;
- Contribute to MSAT Lab organization and analytical instrument maintenance;
- Contribute to assay troubleshooting;
- Participate in MSAT team meetings.

Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor undergraduate program in functional area such as Biology, Biochemistry, Bio-Engineering, Chemistry or related Sciences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to deal professionally with internal stakeholders of various organizational levels;
- Ability to work effectively within a departmental team and with members of the same or higher organizational levels;
- Good organization, documentation, prioritization and scheduling skills together with an overall desire to learn;
- Basic problem solving and project management abilities;
- Ability to work independently and multi-task;
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Demonstrated potential for technical proficiency, scientific creativity and collaboration with others and independent thought.
