Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: Hiring up to $72,000
FLSA Status: Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Job Duties
- Conceive, design, and implement novel machine learning and statistical algorithms specific to single-cell/spatial omics and human genome sequencing data.
- Evaluate relevant literature critically.
- Complete a research project and publish manuscripts.
- Present research outcomes to collaborators and at national conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Chemistry, Computational Sciences, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in computer science, data science, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data science techniques.
- Familiarity with single-cell and/or spatial omics data is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex concepts clearly.
