Job Title: Bioinformatics Associate
Location: Menlo Park, CA
We are looking for a Bioinformatics Associate, Oncology to join our growing clinical operations bioinformatics team at BillionToOne. The bioinformatics team is responsible for analysis and pipeline automation for our Northstar oncology products, and we are seeking a talented individual to help scale up our analysis pipeline to accommodate our growing sample volume.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sophisticated next-generation sequencing analysis pipelines under the guidance of a senior scientist
- Perform analysis of clinical bioinformatics data
- Assemble and analyze quality metrics from the clinical laboratory
- Collaborate with scientists and support new scientific insights
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Bioengineering, Physics or related field
- Very strong programming skills in Python
- High mathematical and statistical aptitude
- Great attention to detail
- Can work in the United States without immediate sponsorship (Post-graduation OPT is acceptable)
Nice-To-Haves:
- Start-up experience
- Knowledge of software development practices
- Biophysics, Molecular biology, or NGS laboratory experience
- Experience analyzing molecular oncology NGS data

For this position, the base pay range is: $70,000-$80,000 per year. We offer generous equity options and industry-leading benefits.
