Biochemistry job opening at Biorad.Celsee’s product development group is a multidisciplinary team developing products using our Celsee Genesis system. We’re looking for an energetic and talented Research Associate to join our team. The Genesis System enables scientists to analyze molecular signatures from hundreds to millions of cells, uniquely allowing the processing of two Slide Technologies for improved results in applications such as single-cell cytometry, single-cell proteogenomics, single-cell transcriptomics, rare-cell enumeration, and immune monitoring.

Qualifications for BIO-RAD Biotech Job
- Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related life science field with 2-4 years’ experience, or Master’s degree with 1 – 3 years of experience in research and development of PCR and NGS based, life-science research using molecular biology techniques.
- Cell-culture experience is required.
- Experience with NGS and/or flow cytometry is not required but preferred.
- BIO-RAD Biotech Drive and passion to develop new industry-disrupting products; motivated to take ownership of your activities and responsibility for the outcome.
- Ability to draft and review technical documents, including test plans, protocols and reports.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical and data analysis skills.
Responsibilities for BIO-RAD Biotech Job
- You will work with a microfluidic, single-cell, NGS focused research and development team developing novel assays using Celsee’s proprietary single-cell technology platforms. The Product Development team is a multi-disciplinary department that includes assay research and development scientists, hardware engineers and software engineers.
- BIO-RAD Biotech Job Plan, execute and analyze laboratory experiments for the development and optimization of new single-cell, NGS applications, create documents and reports on your experiments, develop release testing methods and acceptance criteria, transfer new products to operations and participate in development activities necessary for world-wide regulatory clearance and launch of new products.
Utilize the aseptic technique in a cell-culture environment, assist in cell-culture maintenance and inventory monitoring. - Prepare technical summaries and protocols for internal use.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic problems in experimental designs.
- Generate experiment reports and present findings at internal team meetings.
- Assist in laboratory equipment maintenance and reagent inventory monitoring.
