Elibgility Criteria:Â
- Life Sciences graduate, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Bio-Medical/Chemistry/Medical Technology or another appropriate scientific discipline. Licensed Medical Technologist a plus.
- Bioinformatics, strong data analysis, and presentation skills
- 5 plus years service or technical support experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Teaching/ Training experience preferred.
- Experience resolving complex situations that require in-depth evaluations and assessments.
- Troubleshooting experience in hardware, software, firmware, methods, and assays for clinical diagnostics
- Original thinking is often important in establishing temporary fixes when field resources are not readily available.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices.
- Experience in the development of new products, assays in FDA or similar regulated environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing and training
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%)
As part of a dynamic Product Support Team provide new and current product development, support, and technical training to internal and external customers that use Bio-Rad’s clinical immunology instrument systems and related clinical diagnostic assays. This position will require your strong communication, data analysis, and interpersonal skills to lead complex complaint investigations.
Responsibilities
- Participate on cross-functional project teams to bring leading-edge products to market (clinical trials)
- Training field support and technical support personnel to support Infectious Diseases & Autoimmune/ Multiplex Testing
- Define coordinate, and/or solve complex assay problems that are beyond the expertise of the regional Technical Support Specialists
- Liaise with global support teams to ensure a positive customer experience with Bio-Rad products.
