Join our dynamic Molecular Cellular Immunology (MCI) team as a Recombinant Manufacturing Associate, where you’ll play a pivotal role in creating groundbreaking recombinant protein research products. In this hands-on position, you’ll be involved in every step of the production process, from recombinant protein expression to purification. Your expertise will be key in tasks like DNA isolation, preparing buffers, and performing bacterial cultures.
Essential Functions:
- Perform DNA isolation for bacterial culture projects
- Prepare various buffers for experiments
- Culture bacterial cells and process culture supernatant
- Purify recombinant proteins using cutting-edge techniques
- Monitor protein production stages by SDS-PAGE
- Manage inventory and plasmid constructs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Life Science or related area
- 6+ months of working experience in biotech product development or manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in suspended E. coli culture
- Experienced in the purification and formulation of recombinant protein
- Experience in ISO/GMP environment
