Job Description
The Biochemist 1 position involves analyzing and designing work systems to ensure adherence to standards for humane and economical production. The role supports manufacturing activities related to monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. The successful candidate will engage in various tasks, including employing chromatography techniques for protein purification, operating chromatography equipment, and maintaining compliance with GMP/GLP standards.
Biochemist Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Employ various chromatography techniques for purification of antibodies and other proteins according to established procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of chromatography equipment.
- Produce and maintain records, ensuring on-time completion of documents while complying with GMP/GLP requirements.
- Communicate process and equipment problems and troubleshoot with guidance.
- Participate in meetings, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Regularly monitor and clean lab equipment and lab spaces.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Biochemist Jobs
- Bachelor’s Degree in biology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong background in biology or biochemistry with proven laboratory skills.
- Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO is a plus.
