Job Description:
This position is available to enrolled Northeastern University students eligible for Co-op from July to December 2024. The intern will collaborate with a Computational Scientist on a research project focusing on benchmarking multi-omics analysis workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and benchmark Nextflow analysis pipelines
- Develop automated scripts for benchmarking
- Communicate progress and present results effectively
- Create informative graphics to display findings
Desired Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a college or university program
- Pursuing a Master’s degree
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., R, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with HPC clusters
- Enthusiasm to learn and adapt to new skills
Hourly pay range: $17.50 – $35.00
