About the job:
We’re hiring a Bioinformatics Scientist with expertise in integrative bioinformatics and database development to join our team at InVitro Cell Research. This role focuses on enhancing disease prediction techniques and identifying actionable targets for drug development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and refine biomarker databases in collaboration with ICR teams
- Analyze health and disease biomarkers for predictive analytics
- Conduct bioinformatics analyses on various -omic datasets
- Develop pipelines and algorithms for database querying and analyses
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Bioinformatics or Computer Sciences
- Documentation of expertise in bioinformatics
- Experience with database architecture and programming languages
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis programming
- Background in applied mathematics, machine learning, and -omic data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Bayesian statistics
- Interest in disease modeling and aging biology
