Convergent Research is focused on groundbreaking research in the field of adaptive immunity. We strive to make significant contributions to the understanding and improvement of immune cell datasets. Our team of computational and experimental scientists work collaboratively to drive innovation and create new insights into adaptive immunity.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement, computational pipelines for high-throughput immune cell datasets (both bulk and single-cell as well as other functional data types)
- Perform deep and detailed analyses for data-intensive experiments
- Prepare large-scale datasets for internal and external usage
- Hands-on development of interactive tools for other teammates (RShiny, Python)
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related fields is required
- Experience in adaptive immunity research
- Proven track record of developing computational analysis of immune cell data
- Expertise with sc-RNAseq data
- Proficiency with Python/R, associated analyses, and visualization packages, as well as command-line
- Expertise with good practices for reproducible research (git, Jupyter)
Advanced Qualifications (preferred, but not required)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms
- Experience in machine learning
- Experience with simulation frameworks for immune receptor data
