Job Description

The Blood Science department handles over 6 million test requests per year and offers a wide range of clinical biochemistry tests for patients.
Biomedical Scientist Jobs: Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks including equipment maintenance, quality controls, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Engage with the quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with departmental policies and SOPs.
- Conduct analysis of various clinical biochemistry tests using automated equipment.
- Support senior Biomedical Scientists and other BMS roles within the department.
Biomedical Scientist Jobs: Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications:
- IBMS accredited Biomedical Sciences degree (or equivalent approved by the IBMS)
- HCPC registration as a biomedical scientist
- Experience:
- Experience working in a high-throughput environment
- Experience working as part of a diverse team
