Position Summary:
Catalent Pharma Solutions in San Diego is seeking a Lab Assistant (Intern) for multiple departments on our team. This internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical chemistry development environment under the mentorship of experienced professionals. The role involves assisting in various analytical chemistry techniques and contributing to pharmaceutical product development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Clean laboratory glassware
- Perform maintenance on designated laboratory equipment and order supplies
- Prepare buffers and laboratory reagents
- Document experiments in a laboratory notebook
- Assist in experiments under supervision
- Learn and comply with all GMP practices
- Other assigned duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Enrolled in a Bachelorโs degree program in life sciences
- Completion of Organic Chemistry coursework
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a team
- Availability to work 15-20 hours per week on-site
Pay:
The annual pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $20/hour.
