Job Description:
The Immunology groups within the Respiratory and Immunology Research Biology Unit (RIBU) are seeking highly motivated scientists with experience in immunology to join the team in Stevenage (UK). The successful candidates will design and deliver work packages to support novel target identification and validation within our RIBU portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cellular assays for evaluating drug targets in immune cells
- Evaluate new targets using in silico-based approaches
- Provide biological experimental leadership in a specific research area
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc and relevant experience in cellular and molecular biology
- Experience in cellular immunology
- Practical laboratory experience in industrial or academic research settings
- Expertise in cell culture techniques and optimization of cell-based assays
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in flow cytometric techniques
- Expertise in T cell or human B cell biology
- Prior experience in pharma industry supporting drug discovery programs
