Job Title: Scientific Stock Manager
Location: London Area, United Kingdom
About the Job:
The purpose of this role is to manage the supply chains, supplier relationships, and goods ordering, receipting, and storage activities within the CGT Catapult London’s TPI Laboratories. The Scientific Stock Manager will play a vital role in supporting process and analytical development activities by collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient stock management and laboratory operations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating discounts
- Improving stock ordering systems for the TPI Team
- Regular inventory reviews and monitoring supply chains
- Raising purchase orders for project-specific and general consumables
- Coordinating equipment/materials deliveries and managing storage space
- Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and safety of storage areas
- Training and supervising colleagues
- Managing risks and advocating for health and safety compliance
Experience Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in supplier and stock management in life sciences
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP ByDesign) and continuous improvement projects
- Effective teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
Skills and Competencies:

Education and Qualifications:
Educated up to at least A level with 2+ years’ experience in supplier and stock management within life sciences or equivalent qualifications.
