About the Job
As a Senior Technician – Analytical at Charles River Laboratories, you will independently perform advanced routine analytical methods, interpret data, and generate reports following in-house SOPs, client test methods, and other documented procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, equipment monitoring, routine testing of client samples, and creating cGMP and R&D reports.
- Proficiently perform basic routine tests such as Appearance, Endotoxin, HIAC, Karl Fischer, Osmolality, pH, SoloVPE.
- Perform advanced routine testing including SDS Page, Native Page, HPLC Methods, N-Terminal Sequencing, ELISA Methods.
- Develop and maintain strong pipetting skills.
- Analyze experimental data, conduct technical review, and generate analytical reports on time.
- Participate in equipment maintenance, qualification, and preventive programs.
- Maintain a safe laboratory environment and troubleshoot assays and equipment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline.
- Experience: 3-5 years in an analytical lab, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments.
Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of cGMPs and regulatory standards in pharmaceuticals.
- Proficiency in protein/peptide analytical techniques and lab equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and lab software (e.g., LIMS).
