Bioinformatics Analyst – Molecular and Genomic Pathology Lab-153848
Job Description: This is a hybrid position, not fully remote
Expected Starting Salary Range: $58,552 – $80,000

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain novel NGS data analysis algorithms and bioinformatics pipelines
- Comprehensive evaluation of open-source algorithms/tools for DNA and RNA sequence data analysis
- Performs validation and documentation of bioinformatics pipelines
- Works with laboratory professionals to optimize analytical tools
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 0-2 years of work experience
Preferred:
- Masters’ or PhD degree in Bioinformatics
- Proficiency in Python (required)
Unique Skills:
- Working knowledge of version control using git
- Experience in applying machine learning techniques
