Australia, Bella Vista
As a member of the Lonza – Personalized Medicine Clinical Application Team, the Clinical Application Scientist works in a high-performing, cross-functional team to develop, transfer, and support scalable manufacturing processes for cell therapies using a novel manufacturing system. You will work with various global Lonza groups and clinical and research centers within their geographical territory to ensure the progress and stability of cell therapy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans and performs demonstrations and trainings for the Cocoon® Platform
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the cell therapy field
- Critically analyzes processes for improvement and scalability
- Applies expertise in upstream production, harvest, and recovery technologies
- Independently designs and performs experiments
Key Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Biology, Immunology, or other relevant field required
- Proven experience in cell therapy from a biotech or similar industry
- Laboratory skills relevant to the production of cellular therapies
- Independent task management and ability to make decisions
