- Qualified to at least degree level in Biochemistry or a life science.

- 1 year of laboratory-based experience as a Scientist or Lab Analyst is desirable.

- Preparation and handling of samples and diagnostic reagents.
- Operation of automated analytical systems such as Rx Daytona Plus, Rx Imola, and Siemens Immulite XPi.
- Accurate maintenance of analytical records.
- Strict adherence to chain of custody procedures throughout the analytical process.
- Routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instrumentation.
- Preparation of specimens for transportation to ensure stability during shipment to the appropriate analytical laboratory.
- Recording and monitoring of temperature for laboratory and equipment.
- Troubleshooting technical issues associated with clinical diagnostic testing.
- Completion of necessary Quality Control checks daily to meet internal criteria.
- Participation in Quality Audits.
