Job Description

The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) is primarily responsible for ensuring the rights and wellbeing of trial participants are protected and the reported trial data are accurate, complete, and verifiable from the source documents. The CRA serves as the primary contact between the Investigational Sites, Novotech, and the Sponsor, managing site relationships to ensure compliance with ICH GCP guidelines, local and global regulatory requirements, and Novotech/Client SOPs.

Clinical Research Jobs – Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, pharmacists, and relevant site trial personnel to manage clinical trials efficiently.
  • Foster internal and external customer relationships to ensure timely and productive project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the In-house Clinical Research Associate (IHCRA) and Regulatory Start Up Associate (RSA) to prepare site essential documents and support ethics and regulatory submissions.
  • Understand local and international regulatory requirements relevant to specific clinical trials.
  • Ensure recruitment of participants as per site targets and drive site recruitment initiatives.
  • Monitor investigational sites as per ICH GCP, including all monitoring visit types across clinical trial phases.

Eligibility Criteria Required For Clinical Research Jobs

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in a clinical or life sciences-related field. Relevant experience in allied professions may also be considered. Full unrestricted working rights in Australia are required, and sponsorship is not available for this role.

Required Skills

  • Good time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and be computer literate.
  • CRA II: Minimum of 6 months of CRA independent monitoring experience.
  • CRA III: 2+ years of CRA independent monitoring experience.
  • SCRA: Minimum of 4 years of monitoring experience, preferably within oncology.
