Job Description
The Clinical Research Coordinator will assist investigators in conducting clinical trials and research according to study protocol, ICH Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP), Singapore Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA), and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements as well as hospital policies. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of clinical trials and maintaining the integrity of research data.
Clinical Research Coordinator Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Compliance with the ICH GCP, HBRA, and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements.
- Assist investigators in the screening, recruitment, and follow-up visits of potential patients.
- Perform venepuncture and cannulation as required according to trial protocol.
- Dispense study drugs and maintain drug accountability logs under the supervision of the investigator.
- Attend trial-related initiation and close-up meetings.
- Ensure accurate documentation in source documents and complete Case Report Forms (CRFs) in a timely manner.
- Assist the investigator in applying to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for ethics review.
- Maintain confidentiality on trial data and ensure all study documents are complete and up-to-date.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Clinical Research Coordinator Jobs
- Degree in Life Science related courses or Diploma holder with relevant clinical research experience.
- Previous work experience in clinical research/nursing will be an advantage.
- Good written and communication skills; ability to speak other languages and common dialects is an added advantage.
