Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description
The Coordinator will play a vital role in conducting research studies by performing patient assessments, managing documentation, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure the smooth operation of clinical trials and patient engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor Degree in Life Science and/or related medical fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior knowledge in NGMER and prior experience as CRC will be an added advantage.
Clinical Research Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic assessments to identify eligible patients for the study.
- Perform consent-taking, baseline and outcome assessment.
- Administration of study questionnaires.
- Perform 6-monthly telephone calls for outcomes during the study period.
- Coordinate the care for patients with other providers (health coach, dietitian etc.).
- Arrange for follow-ups, laboratory tests and procedures as scheduled or ordered by the care team.
- Perform accurate research documentation.
- Send reminders for appointments and track, recall and reschedule defaulted appointments.
- Manage subject reimbursement and ensure proper tracking of budget utilisation.
- Facilitate the completion of Physician Management Checklist by Physicians.
