Clinical Research Job Description

Clinical research role responsibilities involve performing monitoring and site management work to ensure that study sites conduct clinical studies and report study data according to study protocols, applicable regulations, guidelines, and sponsor requirements.

The Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining study documentation, supporting study execution, and collaborating with study teams to successfully deliver clinical research projects.

Qualifications

Clinical Research Job qualifications include:

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences.
  • CRA certification according to Ministerial requirements.
  • Completion of a CRA training program or prior clinical monitoring experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
  • Good therapeutic and protocol knowledge acquired through company training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, laptop computers, iPhone, and iPad where applicable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good command of English.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and financial management skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

Clinical Research Job – Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site monitoring visits in compliance with GCP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support subject recruitment and provide protocol training to study sites.
  • Monitor site quality, regulatory compliance, and study progress.
  • Track regulatory submissions, enrollment, CRFs, and data queries.
  • Maintain TMF, ISF, and monitoring documentation.
  • Collaborate with study teams and support site financial activities where applicable.
