This is an onsite position based at Parexel’s state-of-the-art Early Phase Unit in Harrow and involves shift work.
Qualifications
Clinical Research Job qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred.
- Interest and aptitude for clinical research operations.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Experience supporting and teaching peers in clinical settings.
- Understanding of early-phase clinical trial processes.
- Knowledge of specimen handling and laboratory procedures.

- Support invasive procedures, including biopsies, endoscopies, and cerebrospinal fluid sampling.
- Perform phlebotomy and assist with blood sample analysis.
- Collect, label, process, and maintain specimen integrity.
- Operate clinical equipment such as ECG machines, Dinamaps, and spirometers.
- Review study protocols and Case Report Forms (CRFs), documenting findings.
- Participate in study meetings and risk management activities.
- Prepare trial documentation, subject visits, and study materials.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and perform quality control checks.
- Monitor protocol deviations, resolve data queries, and support audits and quality investigations.
