Job Description
ICON is currently seeking a Study Start Up Associate II to join its remote USA team. In this role, you will lead the initiation of clinical trials, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the development of innovative therapies and treatments. This position plays a key role in ICONโs mission to streamline clinical research and enhance global health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, including essential documents, ethics committee submissions, and ICFs.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary study approvals and authorizations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of ethics committee submissions, approvals, and related correspondence.
- Provide support and guidance to study teams on regulatory requirements and best practices for start-ups.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in study start-up activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical research, with a focus on study start-up.
- Solid understanding of ICH-GCP and local regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
