Job Description
This Job involves supporting clinical research projects for the Early Detection and Prevention Initiative, including studies on colorectal cancer and the Pancreatic Cancer Early Detection consortium. Responsibilities include protocol management, participant recruitment, data collection, and maintaining research files.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the initiation, implementation, and management of clinical studies.
- Recruit and consent participants for research studies.
- Collect and enter research data accurately.
- Update study and patient records as needed.
- Submit protocol applications and amendments to the local IRB.
- Maintain accurate and complete research files.
- Perform blood sample preparations and handle laboratory samples.
- Communicate study progress to supervisors and the research team.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Clinical Research Job
- Theoretical knowledge of biology, microbiology, and clinical sciences, typically attained by a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a clinical research environment.
- Ability to interpret medical charts and abstract data from medical records.
- Skills in administering study-related questionnaires and assessments.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Knowledge of Human Subjects Protection requirements.
Salary
Annual Full Pay Range: $75,815 – $121,960 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $36.31 – $58.41
