Summary:
We are seeking a creative and collaborative investigator experienced in wet and dry lab research to join our mission to develop transformative new therapies for patients with chronic renal diseases. The successful candidate will work at the cutting edge of applied data science, modeling and testing key priorities in translational research. Your role will involve mining and modeling complex, multi-modal data to drive drug discovery and early development within the Novartis community.

Position Location: Cambridge, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling multi-modal clinical data to identify biomarkers and therapeutic target hypotheses
- Developing and applying pre-clinical models to departmental projects
- Collaborating with Translational Research & Data Science scientists
- Participating in interdisciplinary teams to guide decision-making in drug discovery
- Engaging in alliances with external healthcare partners for research opportunities
Essential Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent experience in modeling biomedical research data
- Demonstrated expertise in statistics and data modeling for life sciences data
- Hands-on experience with integration of multi-omics data for precision medicine
- Proficiency in R/Python and working in a Linux environment
- Reproducible research skills with data visualization and reporting abilities
- Team-oriented problem-solving approach
