About the role:
The AI & Computational Sciences (AICS) team at Novartis BR is seeking a highly motivated Applied Researcher in the domain of AI/Machine Learning to drive innovation in Life Sciences and drug discovery. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI in drug discovery with a team of accomplished scientists.
About the Role
Major Responsibilities:
- Implement, Validate, and Deliver AI and Deep Learning models
- Learn the data science environment important to each project
- Evaluate and recommend technical approaches to solve domain data science problems
- Communicate critical results to non-data science experts
Essential Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s+) required in a technically relevant program: e.g. Computer Science, Computational Biology/Chemistry, Physics, etc.
- Solid experience in Python and general AI Modelling/tooling expertise
- Extensive experience in developing and training Deep Learning models and familiarity with the state of the art DL architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in the domain of AI / Deep Learning or implementing state of the art architectures
- Proven ability to work and collaborate with a cross functional, multi-disciplinary team
- Proficiency in English (written and oral)
Nice to Have
- Algorithms and advanced mathematics background
- Experience with graphs or chemistry data
- Experience with multi-modal data
