The Role:
Covance Laboratory Analyst Bioanalysis
- Our largest UK site in Harrogate is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst to join the Bioanalysis division. The laboratory analyst will join the Small Molecule team and will be responsible for performing analytical testing on traditional small molecule drug products using LCMS.
- As the Laboratory Analyst, you will work as part of a team alongside other lab analysts, study managers and project managers to perform bioanalytical testing services on small molecule drug products in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will work as a group to perform the analysis in accordance with approved methods to deliver client projects.
- You will perform sample preparation and extraction for analysis via LCMS, following strict method guidelines. You will perform clean up extractions, to isolate compounds of interest and purify the sample extract in order for analysis via MS. You will then process the raw chromatography MS data and perform additional analysis depending on the results obtained.
- Covance Laboratory Analyst Bioanalysis Finally, you will have responsibility for SOP (standard operating procedure) writing as well as working on process improvement projects for the division to ensure the best possible service is delivered.
