The Opportunity
This position works in Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, focusing on breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation.
What You’ll Work On
Provides Microbiological Support:
- Record review of routine microbiological test results
- Technical support for facility issues in sterilization and environmental monitoring
- Conducting out-of-specification investigations
- Data analysis of sterilization processes
Documentation:
- Ensures correct documentation linkage flow for microbiologically related documents
- Writes or updates microbiologically related documents
- Completes environmental disturbance reports and LAL risk assessments
Technical Training:
- Provides training to laboratory technicians on new equipment or test procedures
- Training in sterilization validation and processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or related science
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry
- Experience in Microbiology and/or sterilization
