The Opportunity

This position works in Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, focusing on breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation.

What You’ll Work On

Provides Microbiological Support:

• Record review of routine microbiological test results
• Technical support for facility issues in sterilization and environmental monitoring
• Conducting out-of-specification investigations
• Data analysis of sterilization processes

Documentation:

• Ensures correct documentation linkage flow for microbiologically related documents
• Writes or updates microbiologically related documents
• Completes environmental disturbance reports and LAL risk assessments

Technical Training:

• Provides training to laboratory technicians on new equipment or test procedures
• Training in sterilization validation and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or related science
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry
• Experience in Microbiology and/or sterilization
