Summer Intern – Biology

Internships begin the first week of June through the third week of August. Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities:
- Routinely conduct laboratory experiments and assays under the guidance of scientists; experiments including but not limited to human skin cellular-based tests and microbiological tests.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Participate in team meetings and present findings to the team.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies; maintain test compound inventory.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

You bring:
- Have or working towards a BS or MS in Cell Biology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry or related field.
- Able to commit to 20-40 hours/week for the duration of the internship.
- The successful candidate should have experience in basic biology, microbiology laboratory techniques; cell-based assay experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
